6:00pm - 9:00 PM
London Festival of Architecture
Makower Architects warmly invite Londoners, old and new, to a relaxed and creative evening exploring what it means to feel at home in the city. Together, we’ll look at how the spaces around us can support community, health and a sense of belonging.
We’re thrilled to be joined by Sophie Herxheimer—artist, poet and collector of things—who will be sharing her treasure trove of collage scraps and old-found texts. With her prompts and encouragement, you'll get to create a ‘space of your own’– a place of connection, comfort and creativity. A chance to think with eye, hand, and instinct.
This hands-on workshop is all about coming together – making, chatting and asking big questions in a welcoming space. What makes a space feel like home? Is it the comfort of objects, the rhythm of daily life, the connection to others? And how do we shape those spaces to support our wellbeing?
We hope you’ll join us!
