My poetry exists with and without visual images. My first published collection was Velkom to Inklandt – Short Books, 2017. Before that I hand made a screenprinted book called Hurricane Butter (2012) which was a commemorative object made in honour of my late mother, featuring 12 poems and 12 ink drawings. I regularly make small experimental books – daily if possible, like drawing, writing poems helps me to think. I have had further books and collections published by Henningham Family Press, samples below. Most recently my sequence of cut-up poems made during the pandemic was made into a deck of tarot cards by zimZalla, who published 78 of the poems in a gold embossed red box. My poems have also appeared in many journals including Modern Poetry in Translation, Poetry Review, Cyphers, Bad Lilies, Poetry Wales etc. Part of my poetic practice is performing my work, teaching poetry for The Poetry School, Arvon, and other places, and writing about poetry for different audiences.
